With Bitdefender VPN you can keep your data private each time you connect to unsecured wireless networks while in airports, malls, cafés, or hotels. This way, unfortunate situations such as theft of personal data, or attempts to make your device’s IP address accessible to hackers can be avoided.

NOTE: On macOS, the VPN is a feature included in Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac. You benefit from a daily 200MB daily traffic quota included in your Antivirus for Mac subscription (a 500MB daily traffic quota is included only in Bitdefender Small Office Security subscriptions).

However, if the Bitdefender VPN is not installed on your system, you can install it by using one of the following methods:

NOTE: macOS Sierra or a newer version is required. Older versions of macOS are not supported by Bitdefender VPN.

• Bring up Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac and go to Privacy. Click Open on the VPN tab.

• Alternatively, you can:

▪ Click on Go in the top menu bar and select Applications.

▪ Open the Bitdefender folder and double-click on Bitdefender VPN.

If you are using an older version of Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac and you can’t see the recommendation or the previously mentioned link, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of Bitdefender.
