Description:
Lookupper extends the Mac's 'look up words' feature so you can use it anywhere on the screen: in pictures, movies, games, TV shows, memes on Reddit, etc.
Just place your cursor on a word and press the keyboard shortcut. The definition of the word will appear in a pop-up window. You can choose which dictionaries you prefer and the order in which the definitions appear.
And it does more than just look up words
• It makes your Mac understand compound verbs and nouns like 'break out' and 'bus stop”.
• It knows when a dashed word is common ('self-employed') or not (“co-executive”).
• It saves the words you look up so you can review them and export them to language learning apps like Anki.
Lookupper works seamlessly in all applications, including browsers, books, picture captions, movie subtitles, and full-screen games.
It will help you learn: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. And also Russian and Ukrainian are also available on MacOS Ventura.
Download Lookupper and start consuming content in the language of your choice.
